Grandma's Birthday


Today is Ah Ma's birthday. Went to AMK Hub to celebrate her birthday with my aunty and uncles. We had a birthday lunch at NewYork NewYork. Didn't know that AMK Hub had a branch until i was soucing for the list of restaurents in AMK Hub the day before.

My parents & I went there early to look around and at the same time try to look for a gift for Ah Ma. Didn't manage to find anything so i gave her a red packet.Anyway as usual, the food served at NYNY was great. I ordered the ribs, which was freakishly huge. I mean, damn!, the portion is really big. and its full of meat! Not those that u get from supermarkets, with big bones and little meat. Nonono.. Its the kind with small bones and big chunks of MEEAT! Hmm i forgot to take a picture of it but to all you guys out there who has never tried the BBQ ribs of NYNY, i'll try my best to explain. Errhmm!.. Like i said, theres the BBQ rib, covering 3/4 of the plate, topped of with a sweet BBQ sauce. Along with some potato wages at the one side of the plate and a salad on the other side of the plate. Btw, the size of the plate is roughly around the size of a standard laptop. (Could not think of any other resemblance besides my laptop as im looking at it right now) As you could imagine, it took me quite awhile to finish the whole thing but i managed to and i most definately won't be have one of those for a long long time.

Went to my uncle's house after that to visit him. He has some kind of spine problem which is pretty se-ri-ous. As i brought along my laptop, i took it out and so did my couz with his. Started playing a few games and i also watched my couz and another younger couz play the xbox 360. It was quite entertaining watching them battle it out on games such as "Halo3" & "Smackdown VS Raw 2008". As usual, the older one will always be more superior than the younger, so i shan't explain further. Stayed there for quite awhile before heading home. Damn was it HOT! This few days, the weather has been very warm. Even now as im sitting in my room, topless with the fan above me, im still feeling very warm. I think i'll just turn on the air-con and sleep...Night!
